Private Equity ruins everything. Whataburger and Taco Cabana were the fast food goats pre-Covid, now they're both terrible.

Best fast food burger is the Whataburger patty melt. I hit the one on Bert Kouns here in Shreveport about once every other month and it’s money every time. It’s a meal in and of itself. I don’t even get fries with it.
The Wendy’s double baconator is damn good as well..don’t need fries with it either.
The ONLY thing I’ve ordered from McDonald’s over the last 25 years is a double cheeseburger.
Fries from McDonald’s or Wendy’s are both very good when fresh.

At one time Burger King had great fries.

Interesting. I don’t eat much fast food but actually agree with your combo of Culvers burger, McDs fries, and Sonic drink. We used to have a Culvers nearby and I would crush their bacon cheddar double.

I don’t understand how anyone likes 5 Guys fries. They are consistently the worse fries I’ve ever eaten. Limp, greasy, soggy just terrible. I don’t see anything to like about them.

Arby's, JITB and Rally's. Rally's has great frozen section fries that are perfect in an air fryer.
