Nothing else comes close

Best apple fritter in the world. Also biggest.

Bacon maple long johns are AMAZING

The only bad thing is they are sold out of all the ‘good donuts’ by 9am and by 11am everything is gone

District is far too hipster. Not that I’m opposed to that aesthetic, but for donuts gotta go traditional. Blue dot.

This or Joe's Cafe in Metairie. I haven't really found anything in NOLA as good as either of these.

Friend,

Without a doubt the Tastees on Loyola in Kenner. My second favorite is District on Magazine. My third favorite is Bakers Dozen by Ochsner. We are not far from Blue Dot and find them average.

You have to drive to Houston to get a good Shipley’s donut.

The ones from that Metairie Road location are a sad excuse.

Dorignac's has pretty good Buttermilk drops.. A co-worker brought in some do-nuts he picked from some shop in Algiers.. Those were the worst do-nuts I have ever had.. They were like bagels with icing...

District has the best LOOKING donuts. They are very aesthetically pleasing and have some interesting flavors. I don't think they taste as good as some others. Although District's other food is great.

Blue dot has some really nice traditional donuts.

I like Shipley as well

They are just downvoting you personally

I don't really eat Donuts that often though. Once I got into my 40s I just can't eat like that anymore or I'll put on the pounds.

So I am probably not the best judge of this

I don't know, maybe people don't like Shipley? I think their glazed are pretty good, but have only had them once or twice

Shipley's are decent.

I see more hate for District but I like their donuts and being cakey. They do some cool stuff with theirs.

It’s the Northshore, but Butterkrisps glazed donut is unparalleled

I don't eat donuts but maybe a couple times a year but the wife gets them for herself way more often and that is her Go-To spot.
