Time to finally replace our cookware that we’ve had for 17 years.

Looking for a standard set of pots and pans. Something that performs well.

While I don’t want to spend $3,000 I don’t mind spending decent money for a quality product.

Any recommendations?

All clad, Made in, or Hestan (if you really want to spend the $3k lol).

If money is not an issue, I would go with the high end G5 graphite core All Clads for about $2,000.

We really like are demeyere SS set.

Someone gave us a couple of Tramontinas as well. They are good too.

Made in

I have one Made In stainless pan and it is a great weight and shape.

For the "set" I have Tramontina stainless. Well made and looks good too.

Spending more won't necessarily render better cookware.

The products which are for sale on this site are FACTORY SECONDS. They have minor cosmetic scratches and/or dents. Some cookware might not be engraved on the bottom. There are no defects which will affect the performance of the cookware.

Tramontina

The 12pc Tramontina Tri-ply Set is about as affordable and utilitarian as the Magnalite of another era. They work on inductive cooktops, heat evenly, and are very easy to clean. Once you learn to cook in them where you heat the pan before you add proteins, they are pretty much non stick.

I have a Made In set and really like it. Mostly SS, one ceramic non stick skillet, a carbon steel skillet and a carbon steel wok.

Thanks for all the replies. I've researched them all and am leaning towards Made In.

Good call. Their handles are the best and they're very well balanced across the board.

Just don't do any ceramic coated. Trash

I have Cristel skillets and Hestan Nanobond essential pans and saucier. Would recommend both. The nanobond really is badass.

I have a combination of Heritage Steel (stainless steel), Made In (stainless steel), and Smithey. I try to buy the best pieces that I want, and those aren't usually in a set.

Tramontinas
We have a set of these and one Made In skillet. I prefer the Tramontinas. The Made In did not stay flat long.
