I mean, read the thread. I'd chose Austin over Houston just like everyone else in the thread, but that's not to say Houston doesn't have good BBQ.

"The BBQ Capitol of The World" is quite the stretch IMO.

The pit room’s sides are the best of any of BBQ restaurant.

I've said it here before, I don't give a shite about sides at a BBQ place because it's all about the delicious smoked meats for me at those joints.

However, the smoked/sautéed okra at Pit Room is by far my favorite side at any BBQ place I've been. That side alone makes me agree with your statement.

if you enjoy yourself some sides, I highly recommend feges

Blood Brothers brisket fried rice is probably my favorite side in the city
