The Brass Rail on Highland Road, across the street from the White Horse. Friday afternoon happy hour started at 3:30 pm. 25 cent beer, bourbon or scotch
GOD YES! Fridays starting at The Brass Rail, hitting the White Horse across the street, then staying at the Bengal til 2:00. How many times did we pinball between those three places!
Then at 2:05, it was off to Pedro's!

Hands down winner in a multitude of categories..
Best Frat Fights(KA vs Theta Xi comes to mind amongst others)
Best Bouncer Thrashings(Hazard Bros summertime jobs,etc..)
Best Ipecac Spike Frat Bros Prank Bar..
Best Charge all your group's drinks all night to a guy you don't like, is loaded, and/or dating your ex tab.
Worst plywood bathroom with flooded floor, line too long, whip it out in front of everyone and fill the sink 'cause my eyeballs are swimming. Perma stains on the White Suede Bucks(Pee Wee Hermans) to wade thru the wakes on this floor.
No way you're making that 8 AM English class Wednesday morning..the quarter buys too much beer!

My main hangout back in the day used to be Zachary's.

Loved The Caterie, Colton Club, The Bayou, and I wasted many an afternoon having the time of my life in The Thirsty Tiger.

Scrolled through everything quickly and didn't see Joe Reed's mentioned. Was located where Superior Grill on Highland is today, back in the 70's. Used to catch Greg Wright and Light Years (? might have been another band he played with there) there doing a jazz set, plus others that I don't remember. First place I remember trying a Rusty Nail & White Russian.

I spent tons of money in that place. The two best knights of the year were halloween and the night that daylight savings time fell back. At 2:00 the time would go back to 1:00 for an extra hour of partying
