Balcony changing things up was directly correlated to the Daiquiri bar on St. Charles closing down...
I'm not a huge fan and never was...
Tracey's, Rendezvous, Half Moon & 45 Tchoup... lot of other places I like, but arent in the neighborhood... hell, 45 is pushing the outer boundaries for me...

Do you know when this all happened. I have had a good time every time I went to the balcony. I mean I do love drinking beer on balconies though.

From what I've seen, it's still fine upstairs on nice afternoons. Things get a little dicey at night, especially weekends, but they're trying to do something about it. There have been fights, a stabbing, and a couple of other incidents related to the thugs hanging out either on the first floor or on the sidewalk in front. But, as I say, they're working on it (security guards, eliminating smoking and raising the drink prices).
