Beer: What trends/ingredients/marketing tools, etc... turn you off?

Just to generate some beer discussion....
Other than stupid threads about beer (such as this one), what are some beer trends, etc... that you aren't in favor of? Whether it be a style, ingredient, marketing of said beer... what could you do without?
For me it's
1) Using peppers and/or smoked malts in beer. Never developed a taste for rouchbier and i'm not looking for a hot beverage. I especially don't like them in sours.
2) High ABV beers - As i get older, i tend to shy away from beers over 8.5%. Which pretty much eliminates Stone from me ever buying their one offs.
3) Barrel aged Stouts - used to love these, but i rarely buy these anymore. Around christmas you see people go crazy in search of these. Probably ties into reasoning #2, and that they are very boozy.
4) Green Onion/Garlic-y hops. Usually it's a byproduct of over hopping, or for me, when a brewery uses Mosaic.
5) Shitty kettle soured beers - A victim of the quick sour trend, i'm seeing a lot of kettle soured berliner weisse and gose that just aren't good. I enjoy a nice quick sour if done right, but most of them are just tart, and that's the only character i pick up.
6) Overly thick NEIPA's - I enjoy a well made NEIPA, but a lot of the crap that is churning out right now is so damn thick and chewy, that you are tasting the beer 10 minutes after your last sip. I think this only a problem because we are lucky to have some pretty well made NEIPA's here in Louisiana so we can afford to be picky.
7) Hopping to the X power - I loathe this marketing gimmick.

The consumerist sheep mentality that pervades craft beer now.

It's only good if you can't find it.

The ever-increasing price tag makes me grumpy.
And living on the west coast everything is IPA. Its hard to find good sours or goses in stores here.

You haven't seen all these peanut butter beers? I have yet to have one that I want to drink again

Russian River
Almanac
Rare Barrel
The Bruery
Anderson Valley
Just to name a few of the more well known sour breweries in California. Not sure what distribution looks like out there, however.

When I was younger I used to hate these two, but now I freaking love them. Of course, I can't crush an entire Dark Lord by myself, but these are my favorite beers.

This... I don't like my beer to have a warming effect.

I would probably agree with this. Most I've had have been cloyingly sweet to the point of being undrinkable.

Bug, I agree with most of your list. The exception is high ABV beers. I still do appreciate a good barley wine or Impy stout.
I still like barrel-aged beers but I've never really liked the Bourbon barrel-aged ones. I used to have a Bourbon barrel and I swear it took 4 batches to get the Bourbon flavor out of it.
In general, I don't like gimmicky beers. Odd ingredients, over-the-top hops, etc. turn me off. 99% of the time, I just want a good solid beer without any fruit, or melon-flavored hops, or coffee, or whatever.

I agree with most of those. Especially #1.. I hate peppered or smoked beers. I still enjoy higher ABV beers here and there, but I gladly enjoy 5-7% beers more often.
Peanut Butter Korova is a delicious peanut butter porter.. but it's about the only one I've had that tastes like peanut butter without being extremely sweet.

This, beer is becoming akin to bourbon in that it is only great if you cant find it or its a rare release. The other major problem with beer is the 3 Tier system. Google it if you want, but this is what is keeping beer from really exploding.

I'm more ambivalent about the idea there are downsides to the current beer industry. Sure the marketing off the charts crazy. I can make up beer names too, roof rat, street curb brown town, naked and the ambitious but for me I don't care.
Very little good beer I don't like. Like the sours, gose, BA, IPA, 4xDDH craziness.
Don't like shite beer but you know what my definition is not that same as most. Start an OT thread on beer and half will say bud light. Great.
Not a big fan of rye and mosaic though.

???
In the past decade, craft beer has exploded more than just about anything on the food/drink scene in recent memory.

The haze craze kind of bugs me. Not so much the beers, as some are really good, but rather it seems a segment of the haze lovers dismiss everything that isn't a hop bomb as inferior. It's the same thing as the old IBU wars. There is a place for all beers, and diversity should be welcomed. Except smoked or pepper beers. I agree that those should go away. Oh, and pumpkin beers, too, but it seems that has somewhat passed.
