Hopefully they will distribute in south LA this time.

quote:are these supposed to be neipas? my though of Nova vert was Envie with more hops. I was not impressed by it. Parish is winning in the marketing game but all their beers are starting to taste the same.
I recently had Parish Nova Vert and DDH Blood Orange Envie.

Same style. The line between IPA/PA blur nowadays. But i agree, all of their beers taste the same now. BTW, they have a new "IPA" coming out Saturday

Which at first, i was a little excited for, but then realized it will probably taste like everything else, except on fruit. I'll get some if a friend goes there, but not making the journey for that one.

Houston Haze from SpindleTap in Houston has struck a great balance of hazy, juicy NEIPA style while still retaining a decent backend hop bite and crisper mouthfeel.
Agreed. I also feel the same way about the new NOLA Hoppyright Infringement. So juicy yet balanced.

Better than syncopation? Sync was too malty for my tastes.

looks like we got the Parish homers coming in here downvoting anyone who critiques them.

Well i hope this new beer is delicious and stands out among the rest. Nova Vert isn't doing that.

God forbid people support a local brewery that's trying to put out a good product

For the most part I haven’t and probably won’t grow tired of them. I think having so much ghost recently has spoiled us some. I do recall drinking a juicfer a few months back and it had an almost spicy/peppery taste to it. I don’t know if it aged bad or what, but it wasn’t very appealing.

Try to find some bearded iris

Whatever style Lone Pint Yellow Rose is, I really like that one.

I’m not tired of good NE IPA’s.
There’s a lot of poorly produced versions of this style on the market - especially in Colorado. Many are way old, aswell

I have noticed that in every market I have been in lately. I just buy commotion and envie now bc i can find it anywhere in town and both are always 1-2 weeks old.
I was in Destin back in September and the liquor stores I went to all had like 1000 sku's and 90% of it was all super old.

You can continue to see through one eyes. I'll be more objective.

Growing tired of NEIPA's
They're the worst, I hate'em. My life, pretty much:
quote:

Honestly I read it and my first thought was that it just sounds like Two Hundred Thousand Trillium to me, albeit with obvious riffs on the fruiting
quote:
Refreshing, subtle fruit flavors from aging on peaches, apricots & guava are balanced by a drying citrus tang.
Let it be said, that 200k was a pretty mediocre beer fresh. At a month it was a balls to the wall juice bomb, and absolutely fantastic. And at three months it was still kicking arse. But it was ugly as hell due to all the fruit shite dropping out of suspension. I've seen people on the internet bitch about some sediment in Jucifer and Ghost in the past, this was exponentially worse. But if you strained it through your teeth like Jello, it was great.
And if you're sick of NEIPA, don't move to New England. Just drink some Wayward Owl Clean Slate. You'll be fine. Stop drinking beers of the styles you don't care for. It's rocket science.
