suuuuuuuuuure
I just don't understand how you get tired of a style when you can just, you know, not drink it. Simple. Lot of styles to consume. Might as well say "I'm tired of dark beer." Okay, what does that even mean? You can go so many directions there.
I'm gonna pound NE hops all winter. Drove to Maine weekend before last for hops. Drove to Rhode Island for the same reason Saturday. I ain't mad about it.

I do recall drinking a juicfer a few months back and it had an almost spicy/peppery taste to it. I don’t know if it aged bad or what,
That's exactly what i get from Nova Vert and to a small degree, the blood orange DDH envie. It's off putting, for my tastes.

am not tired of NE IPAs. I also still enjoy traditional IPAs. It turns out, I like beer.
Haha yep

I can still enjoy the style, but also grow weary of it due to the poor quality and mass influx of the style. Is that an impossible feat or something?

Terrific! If you've read through the thread, you might pick up that the tone of the thread is that the NEIPA style, nowadays, seems to be produced rather lazily, at least IMO. I'll use the locals here, seeing as that is my availability. But SOPRO is pretty bad. It's just hazy with little to no malt flavor. Ghost doesn't have the hop aroma or flavor it used to have. It's still a good beer, but the focus seems to be more on the mouthfeel rather than accentuating those hops. The earlier ghosts were better, IMO. Then there is NOVA Vert, that tastes almost exactly like ghost, until it warms up, then its just spice. I'll give it a couple more weeks to render my final judgement, but it just seems its the same thing over and over. When Opus first came out, i could taste a difference between Opus and ghost. Then Bloom came out, and again, i could taste a difference. The last iteration of bloom/Nova Vert/Ghost were all pretty much the same. If you are going to make different beers, differentiate them. As i stated before though, these are all my perceived tastes. Maybe others are able to pick out something different. I think of the styles in this state, i may prefer Jucifer over the rest just because it's not as biting on the back end.
So i know you don't understand how someone can grow tired of a style, but it happens. I have stopped buying as much of the style nowadays so in essence, i have "just stopped" buying it. And with my own homebrews, i'm altering the base style to fit my tastes.
It's a beer discussion thread, i'm sorry if that offends you.

I can sort of agree with this. I still get the big flavor with Ghost. The first batch of Bloom was one of the best beers I’ve ever had. I’m like a crack head still chasing that first high.

I assume you are talking about Devil's Harvest. If you haven't tried Crowd Control in a while or their one-off NEIPAs you are doing yourself an injustice.

Yes, devil's harvest. Last time i had crowd control it was too malty for my tastes, so i've never had a reason to try it again.

Hex Cloud and Paradise Lost from SoPro are money and on both sides of this discussion.

I didn’t dig Hex Clouds. I really liked Paradise Lost. It’s all a matter of personal taste.

I was the opposite but like both.

Garrett Oliver weighed in on NEIPAs this week.

"New England IPA is a beer style that can be really tasty when it is well made, but it can't even sit on a shelf for two weeks. It has no shelf life to it at all. It is the first beer style based around Instagram culture and based around social media."
"It is based on the idea that you wait online or at a brewery to get some of this limited thing, and if you put it on a shelf for three weeks it will be bad after 10 days."

Definitely some truth there.
