Unfortunately to find good BBQ the closest place is Big Mikes in Houma. There is also one in Thibodaux but I haven’t been there so I don’t know if it’s the same.

Whole Foods was good 4-6 years ago...not sure what happened

Hannah Q Smokehouse on Airline is pretty good. Went there for lunch occasionally when I worked off of Industriplex.

Hannah Q is pretty tasty but way out in PVille.

Sadly, whole foods
I get the 3 meats and 2 sides for 14.99. So much food that I have to eat in two sittings.
No wait time, bring it home and eat in relaxation.

Deep South BBQ on Plank. Near Airline.

City Pork Deli (Overpass) is my vote.

Barbosa's pop-ups are the best brisket.
Smokin' Aces is really good BBQ but the sides are lacking.
BRQ has some good non-BBQ items but their BBQ is crap, and it's all overpriced.
Pimanyoli's used to be good... haven't been out there in years though.

This thread reminds me how damn disappointed I was last time I went to Podnuh's on Sherwood. Total waste of a meal

This.
AUCE chicken and 2 sides for $5.99 (on select days).

Too bad Sonny’s isn’t in the most desirable area of town

Not familiar with BR BBQ but Barbosa's definitely is on the right track.

Where is Barbosa's typically set up? Does he move around a good bit?

People won't like it, but for the price and food, this is the current answer.
City Pork does some nice smoked meats as well, but it's not a BBQ restaurant.
BRQ is one of the worst attempts at BBQ I've had, and while I hope they can turn it around one day, they won't see a dime from me after several terrible meals.

smokin aces is the only good place in town

How do you find out specifically where he is at during the week?
I glanced at his web site and I didn't see anything specific.
