It’s always like that. Went at 2:00 for a late lunch/grab some margs and it still had a line. Nola might be different because it’s always seems to have some tourist there, and no idea about the location in BR, but the no inside doesn’t slow it down any.

For the politics side, as in every thread, if you only ate at restaurants in Nola with conservative politics you would never eat at a restaurant in Nola.

I think everyone realizes that. It's the ones that go out of their way to shove their beliefs down your throat and state you aren't welcomed if you don't believe the same.

Oh my gosh, I broke out into a sweat just reading that! I keep praying that when I get old, I'll suddenly become more cold natured like my Mom did. She was always hot natured like me.

Yes. In a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station....

we are getting really close to finishing. the kitchen, bathrooms, prep areas are done and we are working on outdoor stuff now. i dont think the whole thing will be open but the owners are going to do a pop-up at the white light night thing next friday.

it was a pretty challenging redevelopment, i hope it does well. the tacos are legit

And yet the locations in NOLA in the same heat are always packed. I don’t think the outdoor will be an issue. Girls for one don’t care about that.

Location might be I have no idea. I don’t know Baton Rouge all that well

Look around…NOLA has people walking around all over, BR does not. Culturally the cities are different. You might get away with outside seating only if you were next to LSU’s campus, but on Government St. you are going to be in trouble.

I can’t see myself going to eat outdoors this week. Is there no indoor option at all?
