Tis true, with the holiday and beer week finding Jai Alai was a challenge... I'm sure they'll ramp up production soon...

FBD was a NB Rampant. Not my favorite. Very peachy, then just bitter.

SBD is better:

Was in N.O. for a meeting today, went by NOLA brewing afterwards. A few tidbits I picked up (none are groundbreaking, and most have been discussed here before, but I wanted to talk about them in case someone missed it)

- ICS cans are coming late summer/fall

- 7th Street Wheat will follow

- Imperial Porter (not Pour me Something) will also be released in the fall.

- Kirk (NOLA head honcho) met with ABC commissioner recently and they agreed that it is legal for breweries to sell directly (up to 10% of total volume). They are in the process of getting permits to be able to sell directly. This is big not just for them, but for guys like Parish and some of the smaller new brewers.

- Terrapin is coming soon. Will be NOLA 1st, then BR. They came down recently and met with the NOLA guys.

- Lagunitas is also in the works soon. They have been corresponding and making preparations to come here as well as the rest of the Southeast soon.

- Sweetwater is coming as well, date TBD.

Oh, and FBD-2BD- ICS
3BD and 4BD- Rum barrel aged ICS

For sure this is great news. I listened to a podcast today with Parish and Godley was also talking about it. A baby step, but still a step in the right direction.

Oh yeah? That's great! Terrapin does some pretty good collaboration beers. Will be interesting to see what they do with Nola.

They have been working on this permit for awhile now. Not sure if its is a good thing or bad thing for me. On one hand I can buy my beer strait from the brewery, on the other hand that means they might start charging me.

Been waiting to break this news once I get a firm date. They were meeting with distributors the last week of December. I can't seem to get a good timetable though.

Ask and you shall receive. Though not any strawbeery mango saison. I have enough to bottle up for Rohan and Hulk. I can mark you down for whatever comes ready next.

FBD: NB Trippel...

Trying a few of the NB stuff that I hadn't had a chance to try yet. So far, outside of the lips of faith their line up is pretty average.
