and thought I’d use it all of the time. I haven’t used it in over a year.
My solution to this was to buy a griddle insert that can be placed on top of a grille or stovetop to scratch my itch when I want to griddle something.

I had a Blackstone and gave it away. It was always rusty. Even under my covered patio area with the griddle's cover.
I have several cast iron pans and understand the seasoning/cleaning process. But the Blackstone was a F'ing nightmare.
No matter how good I cleaned it and seasoned it. RUST all over every time. South Louisiana humidity

I’m very happy with this for my Weber. It’s not as good as a griddle mostly due to size, but I have a Weber gas and a green egg. I told my wife we aren’t getting a 3rd grill. They are extremely heavy, well made, USA made, etc. simply set it on top of your gas grill. They aren’t as big as your avg griddle, so that’s the major downside. Ours gets plenty hot to cook a shite ton of steak, chicken, burgers, etc and sear extremely well. I’d say it’s probably 90% as good as a dedicated griddle.

Saw this the other day at Goodwood Hardware in BR. Have heard only positive reviews on it.

I have a Weber Genesis EP- 330 from 2015, and have been looking at these custom inserts. The Genesis models 2016+ have more options.
How is it holding up, and how do you store it?
