It’s hit or miss as to who will and who won’t.

Probably will be required. Just print and fill out a fake vax card. Take a picture of it and show them that.

It’s not a requirement in Metairie. I haven’t seen one business request it in Metairie. You won’t find the same style dining in Metairie by far but my favorite locally owned nicer place is Austin’s.

In Metairie there is Vincent’s, desi vega, and oak oven. I personally find Antoine’s to be inedible.

Rapid tests are allowed so its pretty quick and easy. With that said, skip Antoinnes

Changed my mind. Not giving a dime to that city. Anywhere in Metarie that offers private dining for 5

Maybe it has to do with shifting demographics, but I really feel like the dining scene in Metairie/East Jefferson has sort of regressed over the past several years. Outside of some ethnic type places, I just don't find there's much interesting there - especially for like celebratory type dining.

I like Station 6, but it's a really small place and not going to have anything like "private dining."

Metairie is Jefferson Parish and the Northshore is St. Tammany. Only New Orleans requires vax cards.

I don’t know if Nola requires it. You’re probably fine but a restaurant isn’t the safest.

Test or vax card. Taking a picture of someone else's card and showing your phone to the hostess has worked in Nola at a 100% rate since this bullshite all started

They haven't cross referenced with ID in your experience?

I'm going to tea at Windsor Court and really not wanting to pay the $45 copay for a Covid test on top of the price of the tea, but I'm afraid I get there and am turned away for ID not matching vax card. I would do it if I was flexible on where I was going, but this is a booked deal. Hmm.

In my experience the restaurants just go through the motion of you showing them something that remotely looks like a card or an LA wallet screen shot. Never once have I been asked for ID. Most of the restaurants hate the policy but are required to ask

Never. Everyone I know that works in Nola have said the same - never an ID check to go along with it.

If you want to cover all of your bases, Google "MLS-319813_r", print onto card stock, have a friend show you their real card, write down that information on yours. Then boom - zero chance you have issues. Just don't use that card for any federal, state, or official purposes.

No, they don't cross reference with ID that I've ever seen. But if you're worried about it, just make your own card with your name on it.

Find an online test result.

Photoshop.

Boom, name and date match

Haven't been anywhere that tries to cross-reference. Haven't been anywhere that has caught a fake.
