The regular and spicy version are both very good, especially for fast food. Those new crinkle cut fries are an abomination though...stick with curly or potato cakes.

And yes, I'm fat.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to try a gyro at Arby's, even if it is good.

I only get my gyros from places with a menu like this

You get your gyros from places that don't have gyros on the menu?

I tried to find a pic of a changeable menu board that included gyros but couldn't, hoped no one would notice...

Not surprising. After all, they have the meats.

I got it once and it tasted very good. However, about 2 hours later I had a massive case of diarrhea.

MMMMM, "meats". Unspecified, generic, undefined, "meats". Taste so wonderful.

And people call hot dogs and SPAM and Vienna sausages, pig holes and chicken snouts, yet Arby's celebrates "meats".

I haven't tried the gyro, but find both the Rueben sandwich and the French dip to be okay.

It is very good. I do not eat much fast food, but it is my go to on road trips for a quick meal. I prefer the turkey.

Just tried one, thanks to this thread. Not bad but not great. Still waiting for the "spicy" part, but I guess for the fine folks in Alabaster, Alabama this is what passes for exotic food.

On the other hand, I agree with potatoes cakes as a side. Little sprinkle of Magic Swamp Dust fixed 'em right up.

Yes. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the bread could be better, but it's not a deal breaker.

It gets the job done...barely.

What was he store behind tiger land that had the late night gyros? That’s where i discovered how much I loved them. Wonder if I tried one sober if I’d like it.

I was surprisingly pleased the first time I got one, and have had handful of them since.

The other non-gyro meats aren't as good.

I lived in Sharlo for years and would eat them sober. They were good! You had to ask them to double drop the fries though.
