I’m moving to WA in the summer and I am in heaven with of the fresh apples. I love driving along the columbia river and stopping at apple stands.

I find the skin is better than a red delicious, which I think is too tough. I like the taste and texture of gala, they can call it a Gump apple and I would eat it. Ok maybe. I should branch out more, but when I did in the past I was always disappointed.

Bump. Cosmic Crisp were on sale at Sam’s, so I picked up a bag. I cut one for my daughter and took a slice (apple tax), and yep- definitely worth the hype. They’re delicious!
