I’m debating if it’s gonna be worth the hassle, price, and more importantly, hype.

I’ve had some good BBA stouts and none have commanded a $25/bottle price tag. I feel like if I don’t hunt some down though I’ll be missing out on this “mythical” brew.

I plan on going get a bottle.

I've heard rumors that the maple shade release will command a $25 price tag at parish next week...

How much to just pour some in my hands?

Not sure I'd buy a bottle, but place here is pouring 4oz drafts tomorrow night. Unfortunately I've got a scheduling conflict and won't be able to make it.

Friend swears it is worth the hype and price.

A few tastings going on around Shreveport tomorrow. I'm not big on maple but have to try it. Whether or not I buy a bottle is a maybe, but leaning toward no.

I've never had it, so I'd like to snag a bottle

Any one have an idea of what the BR allotment looks like?

Chasing whalez is the biggest turnoff to the craft beer scene for me. Its the ugly side of mass consumerism that is rampant in the craft beer world.

No, not for the price tag.

If I catch it on tap anywhere I'll probably have myself a pour though.

Next question is if you only have one bottle should you drink it or cellar it for a couple years?

Track it down? It will be everywhere. Crazy the amount of stores I have seen with it and the fact most aren't exactly beer places.

That's how KBS was last year. I still have a 4 pack from last year of it.

As widely as CBS is being distributed, wouldn't surprise me there will be plenty to go around.

$25 is pretty steep for a bomber though, but I'll probably fork it over if I come across it.

Is this really going to be a hard commodity to acquire?

Calandro's is getting 15 cases at $22/bottle. Don't see people lining the streets to pay that much for this beer. Though i can be wrong.

No, don't plan on getting. I am more interested in the new Maple Jesus even though more expensive.

I’ll stop by my spot like I do most Fridays.

If they have it, I’ll grab a bottle. I’m not running around chasing it though.
