I know of someone; didn’t meet him cause he died, that accidentally swallowed a chicken bone and it punctured his intestines. His widow told me about it. They operated but he had complications and ultimately died but IIRC it was a painful death.

When I get a chicken breast from Popeyes or KFC, my favorite part is crunching the backbone/rib cage bones. I do throw that nasty strip of gristle away. I can’t be the only caveman here!

I used to know a girl that loved eating shrimp tails on top of her salad.

I usually make fun of weak stomachs, but I’m pretty sure we aren’t made to digest that.

Never chicken bones. But one time, leftover spare ribs. Cold. Just eating, enjoying, and I notice I have eaten half a bone. It was tender, easy to bite/chew. I think it got that way sitting in the fridge post cook, because it wasn't like that hot. Tasted fine, probably great for minerals.
