I also like a frozen daiquiri. The cold numbs it right up and the alcohol makes me forget about the cold for a bit.

Easy. Tennessee whiskey, lemon and honey.

whatever your favorite alcohol is, mixed with honey and some lemon juice, then warm it in the microwave for about 30 seconds

whiskeys are usually the best to use as far as it tasting good and not being nasty

i would definitely avoid using vodka, its harsh as hell

I've had a nagging cough for going on 2 weeks now. I'll have the usual cough and drainage in the morning, but the hot shower usually knocks it out. Then I'm fine all day, until I get in bed at night, and it will start back up. I've also pretty much quit drinking anything, started back in the summer. I cut back to just 1-2 on the weekends, and felt so great that I quit even having any on the weekends. But a warm glass of bourbon with some local honey and lemon has been calling my name. I just hate to break a sobriety streak for a sore throat so I've been toughing it out, but if it hangs around much longer I may just have to have a couple.

for kids or non alcohol versions, just add lemon and honey to some hot tea

so there is no need to break your sobriety.

theraflu works too but its mostly just warm lemonade with powdered lemon in it

Had the crud before Thanksgiving and was feeling weird about being around family, did this Sun,Mon and Tues night before bed was healed by Wed. Slept like a baby too.
