Coming into town this weekend and have strangely been craving some good Greek food. Is albasha any good ? The best ? Which location or does it matter? TIA

Albasha is very good and the food at the various locations is pretty consistent.

Serop's on corporate is better. Schwarma and Gyro has a much better flavor. Albasha always comes off as too dry/overcooked.

I personally think they're the best. I love that fried cheese they have as an appetizer. I think its halloom cheese or something like that. Its delicious. I recommend.

All the restaurants I've been to for what I'm calling "greek" food say "Greek and Lebanese " . I generally get chicken schwarma (sure I misspelled that) salad and gyro meat with pita bread and hummus. Not sure which category those specific menu items fall under. Educate me

I love both Lebense food and I also love Greek food. Since this is food forum and not a history lesson I’ll make it simple. Greece is part of Europe. Lebanon is part of the Middle East. Similar seasonings but then again not at all. So, in BR where many Lebanese restaurants exist they add Greek to the name to draw you in. But the food is lebense food.

Example: Tex-mex is not Mexican food.

This is essentially the combo plate at Albasha. That's usually my go to. I eat at the Bluebonnet location about every two weeks and have never had a bad meal there.

Albasha is probably my favorite for Lebanese. Zorbas is awesome, but very different from Albasha. Serops on Corporate is also good. But yeah, you can't go wrong with Albasha. BR is lucky to have such good authentic Lebanese food.
