The Poughkeepsie location? If so, yes, it closed.
Gonzales, LA location.

Did you go there in person? Was there a sign on the door?

No I did not go there.
But I had a $25 gift card go to waste.

The one in Lafayette sucks, at least it did a few years back.

Holding a gift card to a restaurant is riskier than having Bill Cosby top off your drink.

An economic down turn separates the men from the boys

That didn't last long.
Surprised the owner was approved for a franchise, unless he was just absolutely reckless with money and had enough in the bank when obtaining franchise.

Went there twice for lunch since it’s near work. Two of the most dreadful meals I’ve ever experienced.

I don’t think it stayed open a full year and has been closed for probably 7 years

7 years sounds about right. Any confirmation on the one in Gonzales?

one of my clients has been negotiating with the owners of the building for a while now. The lease terms the current occupant has are extreme to put it lightly
there was no chance it was going to make it work unless it was packed every meal every day, which it was not. It is a nice building though and with a better lease that’s a good location with high traffic

It was probably 6 months tops.

Leases kill restaurants all the time. Couple that with the note on the startup and construction costs and you are playing with fire. So this location really did close?

Not surprised. I didn’t hear even one halfway decent review since it opened. Problems from day one. Sad though. I have been to some out of state that were pretty cool bars.

How the hell do you even find qualified labor to run these places?
Posted on 5/13/18 at 9:23 pm to LSUvegasbombed
I mean really. Think about the work force available and the amount of restaurants opening up and the sheer number of people. Even if it is all Sysco and push button Cooking I don’t know how these places can staff.
