#5 Brandt’s Maisonette faces #15 Parkway Bakery

As for all games, anyone can vote. Anyone can also tell in the same post us why their choice should win. Politiking is encouraged. But you can only post once in a thread while the game is being played. If you post more than once in the thread while the game is underway, your vote is disqualified. You may post in the thread AFTER the dead line for votes.

Voting for this game ends at 7am on 4/10/2009.

A perfect roast beef poboy is not easy to find...Parkway has it down to a science...oyster and bacon poboy is money too.

I don't know anything about Brandt's, but a big fan of Parkway, a neighbor hood classic that helps make eating in new orleans great, so my vote has to go with Parkway.

I love Parkway, but it's tough because I don't know anything about Brandt's. Anyone want to share a little information about this one? I may have to sit this one out if Brandt's has a really good reputation.

Brandt's and it's not close.

Sorry parkway, you are just topping bread that you don't even make with a few generic proteins and fats. But, big props for still using glass coke bottles. did it used to be a bakery? Even it was still a bakery, they still lose.

Have you eaten there?

If so, what's it compare to in N.O.?

yes. I would describe it as a not as refined Lilette.

If Lilette is a 10, Brandt's is about a 6-7.
