Parkway Bakery, they just do what they do much better.
Edit so I don't make another post:
Wow, just wow. Not even close. Bradt's is good to very good. Brigsten's is an elite restaurant that people come from around the world to try and revisit. The only reason I responded to your comparison is you are giving people an extreme idea about Bradt's if you are going to compare it close to evenly to one of New Orlean's best restaurants.
Edit so I don't make another post:

Brandt's closest comparison in N.O. would be Brigtsen's - small place run by a husband / wife team.

If so, what's it compare to in N.O.?
Brandt's closest comparison in N.O. would be Brigtsen's - small place run by a husband / wife team. Excellent food, top notch service. Going there this weekend

quote:Same here. I know the voting is over for this but just wanted to comment. Went to Parkway for the first time about 3 weeks ago and got the Roast Beef po boy. Delicious. A lot of meat and a tad bit sloppy, the way it should be. Got the banana pudding for dessert...very good. I'm going to have to do some research on Brandt's and give it a try...sounds like a reputable place. By the way, if anyone is running the Classic tomorrow, some of us are going to Parkway after for lunch around 12:30 or so.
I may have to sit this one out if Brandt's has a really good reputation.
