As for all games, anyone can vote. Anyone can also tell in the same post us why their choice should win. Politiking is encouraged. Dakota is my vote. But, a #1 seed? August, Stella and Commander's should all be 1 seeds, but Dakota isn't even in the same league as Gautreau's, Clancy's( 8 seed) or Lilette(not even in the tournament).

The seeding was done by each team...Dakota should be a one seed for their team if you look at their list of restaurants.
The only way Stella! would have received a one seed is if y'all actually seeded them numero uno for your team (Old NOLA).
I am not saying this is right, but this is how the tourney was done.
I have been to both several times....Dakota gets my vote.

Now, i haven't eaten there in 5+ years but i loved the place, the food, the location, the quaint country feel, and the fresh seafood. In a blind taste test the Dakota would probably win, but this contest is supposed to be about the entire experience and i preferred the old country store to the Dakota.

We (OldNOLA) did seed Stella! first. As I said earlier, it does not appear that our choices were seeded in the order that we turned them in.

Back in the day, Joe Dreyfus was good stuff. One of the best cheesecakes around (in fact, my girlfriend has the recipe and made it for me a few weeks back 
). That said, I've been twice in the last three or so years, and it was so bad that I'll never go back. It's simply awful now.
