He would play Week 1 or 2 if an injunction is granted. Gordon is better than your WR3 so you would start him. Not to mention he would be very valuable to upgrade your RB's if your WR's are so incredibly stacked.

There is also someone on your 20 team roster that you could drop. Players on your roster are that much better (if at all) than waiver level replacements.

You're obviously very conservative, but the 5% chance he gets an injunction is worth it.

there really isnt anyone on 20 team you can drop man.. players that do anything are important. Really cant take that chance because as soon as you drop anyone with any value they are snatched up.

That makes no sense. You can't take the chance of dropping someone with little to no value to potentially get someone with massive value?

Furthermore if someone snatches them up, don't they also drop someone with value?

You just do not like Gordon and are making excuses. No big deal. You do not like him. But to argue that he is not worth the risk for anyone is silly since we will know if he files before the games start and can pick up a replacement level person off the waivers.

no, i LOVE gordon if he was playing. Top 3 in the game.. and no in 20 team you dont have players of no value to drop. You know what free agency looks like in a 20 team? The best available rbs are guys you never heard of, and best available qbs are guys like pryor. You basically live by your draft, very rare you pick up someone of value because backups are drafted and in some cases their backups.

Whatever Ole Yeller. Just don't hate on the guy that picks him up in your league, and by some remote chance he plays and he outperforms anyone on your incredibly stacked team.

Lamar Miller sittin on your bench every week will look awesome to you I'm sure. Especially when Moreno takes his spot.

I play in a 20 man, 19 man and 15 man leagues and have him rostered in all 3. So worth the risk over someone that barring injury I'd never play. If someone drops a player from their incredibly stacked 20 man roster to pick up Miller after you drop him, as mentioned before, that player will have value and you can roster him later.

Just a dumb argument you make. It would be better if you just said "I don't like the weed smoker!" or "I'm afraid my league mates will laugh at me!" Either would be better

whatever dude. Have fun dropping him.. i was the one all along said he would get 16 games and everyone talked shite. Now im telling everyone he wont be playing this year so keep on talking while i sit back and watch the "wtf goodell" "frick the nfl" and "this isnt fair" threads pop up daily. I cant help that im not dumb enough to roster a guy who has zero chance of playing. If it wasnt for the CBA sure, but the players agreed to it before the season... goodell knows that.. gordon knows that. the end

Dude, you are probably rostering Stefan Taylor and CJ Anderson. I think you can afford to drop a guy like that for Josh Gordon.

I also think there is like a 1% chance a judge stays the injunction, but it is worth the risk.

Why??? There's a chance, albeit very slight, that a 1st Rd elite WR plays, and several of us are tellin some guy that it's not dumb to roster him for someone that barring injury we'll never play.

Bump able for when Gordon is suspended and I have to pick up a back up flier??? Yeah I'll really be told then.

You don't see that as crawfishing, and you have the nerve to call other people idiots?

Step 1: you laugh at and call everyone idiots for continuing to roster Gordon
Step 2: someone provides a logical reason for continuing to roster Gordon
Step 3: "i agree with you here, i guess no harm done"
Step 4: crawfishing complete

I love that you're insulting other people's intelligence. It's quite funny. You forgot to throw in your standard "he's a thug piece of shite" comment. Your troll game is slipping.

Only thing I have seen in the last 24 hours. Not sure how credible the source is, but he claims to have sources inside Gordons legal team. Here are a few quotes. More from him in the link. We shall see!

Greg Staller ?@Waitin4NextYear
Josh Gordon to file for injunction today and should be practicing by Thursday or Friday. His lawyers have a very strong case. #NFL #Brown

Bruce ?@thelastverb
@Waitin4NextYear source?

@thelastverb yes. Thats from someone inside the meeting with gordons legal team

Another sign is that Gordon would not have attempted to head to the CFl if he had any chance of playing this season, he would not have even looked that route.
I'm sure someone hit on this in the replies, but this is exactly what he NEEDED TO DO in order to file a successful injunction. Reason being that the ruling by the NFL prohibits another avenue of income i.e. the CFL.
