He does not need to get a job as a car salesmen to show irreparable harm for the TRO. He can already show that by pointing to the fact that he will waste a year of his prime playing time.

I'm just saying, neither of us are Ohio attorneys nor are we part of his legal team.

I have filed lawsuits in Ohio and requested TRO's. I am not part of his legal team, but from a legal perspective this makes no sense. It also doesn't make sense that they have not filed yet.
The only potential slight glimmer of hope might be the reworking of the drug testing policies, but no clue when that will come down and I doubt Goodell lifts current suspensions.
The lack of news out of Gordon's camp is odd though.

I can. Because Goodell will take that as a slap in the face and remember that when it comes time for reinstatement. Gordon is in a lose-lose.
He has little chance of this being overturned in court, so his only hope would be to essentially postpone his suspension for a while with an injunction.
Regardless of how it works out, he'll still need Goodell to reinstate him. The NFL has already said instead of a full 365 ban, he could be back in time for training camp if he follows all the rules.
With that said, if he dismisses that and tries to sue, Goodell will put him even higher up on his shite list

Penalized for exercising his rights. Gotta love it.

Get the negativity out of here. I don't care how logical it is!!

This. Everyone keeps talking about the Ohio drug testing law, but no one seems to realize that (1) it is a law that applies to drug testing of state employees; and (2) he is not employed by the NFL, but rather, is employed by the Browns.
For a tro, he has to show a reasonable shot at winning a lawsuit. If the statute that the testing allegedly violated does not apply, how can he win?

It also applies to private companies via Workers Compensation who participate in the Safe Workplace program to get a reduction int heir Worker's Comp rates.
Whether it also applies to companies who do not participate in the OH safe work place program, but do participate in Worker's comp is another question. As is whether the Browns get a rate reduction based on their drug testing policies.

What's the consensus on picking him up or not?

Bruh, it's on the internet. It's true. Shut your face.

Well, in one league I need a WR but I think I'll be ok (Decker and Tate) so I don't mind seeing how this turns out. In another league I already have DT88 and Green, so this would just be icing if it goes through. It just depends on your situation.

There is no consensus. If you have room to store him for a few weeks, go ahead. If you would be dropping too much to pick him up, don't.
This is a "free Josh Gordon" thread, not an entirely rational thread.
