So lets dissect this car shite

Maybe it's a ploy by his legal team to further his case...like the NFL is kicking him out, won't let him play in the CFL as now he has to work as a used car salesman

Wishful thinking maybe

You're starting to stretch it pretty damn thin. As everyday passes it gets less and less likely. I'm trying to decide when is the right time to release him. Do chances reach pretty damn close to 0 if he doesn't do something by this weekend?

drop him 4 weeks ago

but if you already own him as of today... you may as well hold on to him until monday, if zero hope then, release

If nothing happens today, especially with him being a car salesman now, I think it's time to move on in standard leagues.

I'm going to hold out until next Sunday. Then I'm cutting him.

The salesman thing changes nothing. It may even be part of his lawsuit.

I agree. I don't think they're just giving up. It has to be some sort of legal strategy. Not being an Ohio attorney, I have no clue what it could be.

Yeah but we know he's not playing week 1 regardless of what they do, so I don't know what they are waiting for if they plan to sue.

Because why sue if he'll miss week 1 anyway.

I'm throwing in the towel

See y'all next year

The strategy may be gets a job as car salesman and passes a drug test to get the job.

Lawyers than argue that he's clean enough to get a job so why be blackballed from the NFL ?

I'm not sure.. But why bail at this point just to go pick up Harry Douglas? I'm already invested (albeit just a 15th round pick), I'm gonna wait til I'm DAMN SURE he's out this year before dropping him. If I have to hold him 2-3 weeks, so be it.

The car salesman job does nothing for the lawsuit. It appears as though he has decided to accept the suspension. If he was going to file, he should have filed on Mon. If he does not file today, I do not think he will be.
