I've been stuck in the blue dot of Travis County, TX and it was nothing but "Texas is gonna turn blue" for the past month. Lots of sad and shocked faces this morning.

I think Arkansas went redder this election even with all the Walmart transplants!

I still feel like there are too many democrats in the area.

During this election, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two people killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million.

I expect that you'll have a lot of people calling in sick to work this morning so they can stay in bed all day and cry.

After getting their asses stomped 64%-38% in this state I can't blame them.

Was visiting in Westlake two weeks ago. The only signs I saw were Trump. My kid lives in University Hills where people virtue signal and while I didn't go there, I'm sure there were plenty of Kamala signs in the yards. And also the "We Believe in Science" signs.

If last night proved anything...no state is safe on either side. I mean Trump is only down 400,000 in Illinois.

I think now is the time for Republicans to start taking California seriously again. It is almost 50% Hispanic (maybe high 30s if you are only counting adults), but the looney whites still run that state.

"Our surveys over the past year indicate that, among adult citizens, 47% of Latinos, 54% of Asian Americans, and 54% of African Americans are likely to vote, compared to 65% of non-Hispanic whites. The state’s likely voters are disproportionately white: according to US Census estimates, whites make up 41% of the state’s adult population, but our surveys find that they comprise 55% of the state’s likely voters. Latinos—California’s largest racial/ethnic group—represent 35% of the adult population, but they account for only 21% of those most likely to vote. Asian Americans comprise 15% of the adult population and 14% of likely voters. The share of African American likely voters matches their representation in the adult population (6%)."

No. People think just because you move to a state, you will vote the same way.

Florida disproves that. If the message is clear, and right, you will win. DeSantis is about as clear as they come.

His state is the blueprint. Don’t hide who you are - tackle it.

Wrong. Texas will go blue before Arkansas does.

Georgetown here. I guess we’re just rural enough to be solid red.

Something I saw for the first time- while driving to lake Travis a couple of weeks ago, I passed a few signs that said “Democrats for Trump”.
