Here's a guide for later:

R's were "up" early in the day. Who is up early in the morning? Old people and people with non-government jobs. It's trended towards D's throughout the day...which shouldn't be a surprise. It's 1:30 in Nevada. Most besides those who work for the government (including schools) are at work.
The interesting question will be does the trend hold in after work hours?

Republicans have Jobs. They will vote after work.

A 2,000 lead is "pulling away"?

Are you assuming the "other" is going your way?
I think you're going to not like how this goes

Clark County Nevada Election Day voting trending towards Dems
This news should not be surprising. They won in 2020 by ~8 points.

Pretty sure this is expected. Just depends on if the have a large turnout and how independents break

Not if they already early voted…

LOL
2.2K difference today. Early voting advantage in Clark was plus 47K Republican.
This in the county the dems won by 8+ in 2020.
Other counties, all red
This is not good news for the Dems by a longshot.

Clark County is a Dem stronghold. Thats a pathetic lead for the Democrats and bad news. They need a MUCH bigger lead than that.

Biden won Clark by 9 in 2020 and they are excited about 2
Posted on 11/5/24 at 3:27 pm to Mickey Goldmill
Biden won Clark County by almost 100k (90,922 to be exact) votes and won Nevada by 33,596 votes.
That small of margin is really, really bad news for Harris.

Don’t they have to make up like 40K and they are at 2K?
Posted on 11/5/24 at 3:28 pm to Mickey Goldmill
That’s the most liberal country in the state. If they’re only up 2000 votes there, Trump wins overall
Posted on 11/5/24 at 3:28 pm to Mickey Goldmill
Democrats make up 32% of the Clark Co electorate while Republicans make up 25%. Indys are 35%. So, a D+3 is nothing. Nothing. Biden won Clark by 10 points in 2020.

So long as R's keep it within 5 points we are good... GOP is still increasing vote lead statewide as the rurals are offsetting Clark
Also “other” is likely to be majority Trump

Why? They went for Biden in 2020.

Uhhh.. you know this margin is great news for trump don’t you?
The separation was nearly 10% Dem in 2020. The entire state was won by about 30ish thousand votes. If it doesn’t trend hard for the Dems, then the Dems lose Nevada.

We don’t really need Nevada from what I can tell.
It’s more about delivering a mandate and winning all over the country provides that. It also sends a message to the dems that they’ve pushed too far and are being punished. Rejecting their messaging in swing states is important to hopefully getting them to kick their progressive wing to the curb.
