2 crucial pieces that lead us where we are today:
- Obama making fun of Trump like that.
- The DNC rigging the Primary vs Bernie. We'll never know, but I'd think he had a much better chance vs Trump than HRC.

Maybe a partial reason for personal gratification, but I get the feeling Trump is just as sick of the establishment and elitist attitudes and did it for the people.
I think the more he traveled the country and interacted with regular people he started to really want to fight for them.
