Driving & confronted by large group of protesters - what can you do?

While driving on a one way street you come upon an intersection and are suddenly confronted with a large group of protesters blocking the intersection from all sides. You initially stop and sound the horn, but the protesters refuse to move. You fear for your safety as protesters surround your car and pound on the hood.
Can you just accelerate and drive through leaving bodies in your wake? There are three fatalities and 15 injured people, some serious with broken bones and internal injury.
Does this qualify as a " Stand your ground " situation?
Would you be arrested for negligent homicide? Negligent injury?

Just drive slowly through them.

Are you in imminent danger of losing your life or suffering great bodily harm? Likely doubtful, if they're just banging on your hood.
If one breaks a window or points a gun at you, floor it.

Reginald Denny would say "If in doubt, drive through."

I would just pull out my gun.

Lay The Barrel of your AR on the dash,so they can see it, and floor it. Make sure the safety is off.

No protesters holding weapons. I do fear for my well being. I do not have a weapon in the car either.

Are you in it right now? I'm not a legal expert by any means, but lock the doors, roll up any windows and try desperately not to stop. If that means a few people get hit so be it, I have to feel that the law would be on your side. As someone else mentioned if you even see a gun then floor it. You can't even fight your case if you're dead. Good luck.

Put the car in park and call the police.

Fortunately not in it just watching on TV.
Thought it might present a good legal quandry. Any lawyers who can weigh in?
