With the way she & Huma treated the SS, she better not count on any agent taking a bullet for her. Am sure there were a few toasts of celebration last nite by all the agents assigned to her.

Former presidents get a small secret service detail for life. Former First Ladies get the same thing unless they remarry like Jackie O than they lose it. Former Vice President and other bigwigs are on their own. They are lot of nuts in the world so it's a good idea

The rules have changed recently. But it was for life. All immediate family for life. Those who came before the change are grandfathered in I believe.

The rules were changed once to cap it at 10 years but they will changed again under obama to get it for life again. Vice Presidents and other cabinet officers don't get anything after leaving office
