Hopefully Trump finds a way to do what Obama failed to do and bring the entire country together. I think the last 24 hours of reaction is indicative of that.

The Dems always pull this shite when they lose. So let me get this straight. When the Dems win it's full speed ahead with their agenda, screw the Republicans. But when Republicans win, we are supposed "heal" and welcome the other side and let them go full speed ahead with their agenda. Got it. Again for you younger folks, they pull this shite every time they lose and the Republicans fall for it every time.

So you are saying you didn't vote for the Donald because you thought he would lose and you didn't want to be on the losing team and not get a trophy? You're a POS.

Yeah - that's pretty shitty reason to not vote for someone. puts the whole OP in suspicion to me.

You know, right, that Clinton was not progressive, not liberal -- that she was a Goldwater girl from start to finish?

She would'nt endorse a $15.00/minimum wage, repudiate fracking - couldn't wait to do more -wouldn't champion a response to Global Warming. You know that right?

Instead of hammering what she would do for Americans it was all anti-Trump all the time, "oh it's the Russians,"

ALL THE frickING TIME.

Anyone who would vote for Clinton was not even half awake.

We were right. There's a difference. There were just a lot of hardheaded people willing to see it. Anyway, thanks for the confession. All we ask now is for time to implement Trump's philosophies before people start blowing up at him and us again. Give it a chance to pan out.

^ wisdom and truth there ^

We should not turn away good intentioned DEMs who want to join us in fixing all the problems. BUT we should not compromise any mandate just to make they feel better. Screw that.

Open the tent for any like-minded patriot - but refuse to compromise on principle. Compromise on methods and timetables is appropriate but the larger goal of conservative constitutional governance should never waver.

I'll ask you "breh," why don't you elaborate your point rather than throwing unsourced numbers? I suspect you don't understand what you're talking about. I will lay out my point so you can try & tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, when I do.

2012: Dem 65,446,032, Rep 60,589,084 per archives.gov.

2016: Dem 59,814,018, Rep 59,611,678 per Google since archives.gov has yet to update.

Trump won because less Democrats voted. That's why Obama was shucking & jiving & dancing like a long legged mack daddy before the election. Though, I think he's satisfied that she lost since they hate each other.

Screw this compromising mentality. It's overused. It's not my job to explain to liberals what happened. It's their responsibility to make rational observations on ALL the facts instead of just the facts they want to see. It's as if they're trying to hide a battleship. High time they ditched the alternate reality they live in. They all need to grow up. They expect you to capitulate to their craziness. I disagree with the OP. You don't come this far just to start giving all back.

While I appreciate your sentiment, progressives on this board aren't coming to our side. They simply see this as a temporary backward stumbling block to their progress. People with diametrically opposing views don't reconcile. When the 2 forces are roughly equally balanced as they are in our nation, what you get is what we have seen historically, a zigzag path left, right, left, right, etc. The result is analogous to a 45 degree angle in which the plotted points are a function of going right a few units of measure and then up a few units. The function has actually worked fairly well so far in that we haven't as yet gone off the deep in either direction. But make no mistake, the deep end is looming in the form of extreme federal debt that has been created by excessive government spending. It was definitely time for a shift to the right toward less/simpler government. But even a smart businessman like Trump, might not be able to save us from ourselves.

I'll chime in. I wasn't for Trump in the primary, and went third party for the election. I can say that I look forward to his presidency. So far, he has handled himself well. I am starting to think he planned to run a long time ago and now that he has it, wants to do a great job. It is his name that is out there, and that is one thing he doesn't want to ruin. His 6 points are a great start. He will carry on his hard working nature to the office.

If he strays, then we should hold him accountable. Until then, lets enjoy the ride and see what happens.

frick the left man. If they didn't vote or voted against th Don they can get fricked. It could have very easily went the other way and we'd all be screwed. They don't need me to welcoming. They just need to stfu, get to work,m contributing to our country, and quite being pussies. Even with the win id love to back hand these "strait white males" who voted for that devil. I believe he also said it in another more insulting way... something like "If they don't like it, then they need to win an election"
I'm absolutely fine with welcoming them into the tent, but historically they come into the tent and set it on fire.

You're playing right into their hands. They're like obstinate 4 year-olds and you're the doting push over parent. They read you like a book. If they ever start suffering consequences for their child-like behavior, you can bet your last dollar they'll see the light. They need to wean themselves away from that ridiculous bubble they live in.

As Tyson Lannister puts it:

When your enemies defy you, you must serve them steel and fire. When they go to their knees, however, you must help them back to their feet.

This is an opportunity to bring people to your team. Don't stoop to the level of the American Left. That is one of the main reasons you won. Remember that.

The George Soros funded radical element will never accept the results of this election. Already they are protesting in the streets of major cities. I expect violence will increase with random attacks on innocent people.

Maybe instead of scolding us about not being inclusive you might scold those who refuse to accept the will of the people. Our country has serious challenges ahead. The Democrats, under Barack Hussein Obama, had their chance to fix the problems. They failed miserably. IMO the People voted to elect DJT because they did not want a continuaton of Obama policies. Besides Hillary was a chronic liar. That is a fact.

I'm all for unity. How about you tell the other side to cool it?
