I have compared him to a more mobile Tom Brady and also to a taller Drew Brees. Also compares to a less mobile but more accurate Lamar Jackson. Just so many NFL quarterbacks he can be compared to

You're acting like throwing fire is a huge advantage. It was 30 years ago. Passing offenses are more about finesse now. Look at Brees and Brady and Burrow.

Burrow is just coming off the greatest season for a college QB in the history of the game. And you insist that people proclaim Mahomes as a better QB? Because he throws too hard? Has no touch? lucked in to a ready-made Andy Reid offense?

Sorry. Count me out on that nonsense.

1. Burrow throws a lot of passes down field I would Lump him in with two guys in the end of their career.

2. Big and accurate arms are still more usually than small accurate arms. Teams just get by with smart QBs that make up for their diminishing arm strength with intelligence and accuracy (FWIW Mahomes has a better Comp. % than Brady the last two season while throwing more passes downfield.)

Neither of these is true.

You just equate them to arm strength as an excuse.

And Mahomes just became the youngest player ever to win an MVP and a Superbowl MVP.

The same could be said about Burrow in Brady's offense. In fact, a bunch of idiots have been saying this over on the SEC Rant.

I never insisted anything This whole thing started when I said I would take Mahomes over Burrow if I was starting a team. Which was my opinion.

You get mad at people for saying you can't have you own opinion(you on page 5)

You state YOUR opinion, and I'll state my opinion. But don't be so presumptuous as to tell ME what MY opinion is
yet lose your mind when people have an opinion that differs from yours. Time and time again people on the board see you act this way. You are the only person in this thread to mentioned Goat and Mahomes in the same sentence. Nobody was calling him that. Some people disagreed with the idea that Burrow was already significantly better than Burrow, but that's it. Nobody said Burrow was bad. Nobody said Burrow would be a bust. In fact, the two posters you keep disagreeing with have called Burrow the Goat multiple times in this thread.

But I'm done going round and round with you. If you actually do leave after Burrow is drafted, this board will be a better place.

Calling either a “system QB” is dumb.

All QBs are better in better offenses. That’s why they’re better offenses, but both Burrow and Mahomes do thinks that arent system related. They’re just talent related.

Joe being able to put a ball exactly in the right spot has nothing to do with his system.

Mahomes arm strength doesn’t go away if you changed his coach.

I’m a huuuuuuge Joe Burrow fan. I don’t Think there is any ceiling to his potential.

I just think the logic that “he was the best in college so he will be the best in the pros” is pretty dumb as is downplaying A guy who’s won an MVP, Superbiwl MVP and passed for over 9000 yards and 76 TDS in his first 2 season as a starter.

We all are. He's the most beloved LSU athlete ever. Just the fact that this has to be repeated over and over shows the level of ridiculousness on this board.

I didn’t say 4.9 I said 4.83 and Cam Newton ran 4.56 not 4.59. You know what your posts show? That you’re just making all this up and have no idea what you’re talking about. Outrunning LBs and safeties allday for two years lmfao it’s la la land for some of you ppl.

Burrow was amazing this year and had the greatest season in the history of college football.

However can we not compare him to a Super Bowl MVP and NFL MVP?

Why not? Three years ago that Super Bowl MVP was a college kid getting trucked by LSU. A Super Bowl MVP isn't Superman. He's just a regular man...like Burrow.

Three years ago Burrow was riding pine. Can you not see the lunacy in your logic? Mahomes has won a Super Bowl and thrown 50 TDs in the NFL. Comparing that to any college season or player is downright stupid.

I didn’t mean to insult you what I said might’ve come off harsh. Let’s put it this way, if Burrow just did what Mahomes did the past 2 seasons and someone tried to compare a college QB to him would you entertain that? Of course not, 100% of this board would be laughing at the comparison and Buckeye would be doxing ppl.

Because the NFL is a lot higher a level of competition than College.

It’s not really comparable. The worst team in the NFL would smash the best college team.
