It’s really weird cause he hasn’t been combative at all.

A guy who I never seen post on the food board started a thread about him posting here on the OT yesterday,

Posters from New York, Boston, Ohio & Birmingham somehow have found a beef with the guy lol

He had a fuss with the new guy at CCBBQ, but I think that guy was the catalyst. Then, someone else posted, but people thought it was Rob's alter if I recall correctly.

I don't really know why the out of state people care.

I think he should consider skipping the "next" etc... posts and just answer the food posts. However, there are some people here who are obsessed with him, including some out of state folks. It's strange, well, except for a few posters who poo on posts regularly.

Gris, he keeps saying in his post that he just wants to discuss food & bbq and the attack’s keep happening. I Wish the moderators on this board would muzzle those who keep attacking him. For me he has been very helpful. To those who keep bashing him don’t click on his posts! Real simple.

Electric smoker, or one of those tall ones, or one that looks like a big propane tank?

You never answered my question. Why is being an attention whore on social media more important to you than being a successful person?

I'm not trying to be mean. I am genuinely curious.

If I can be honest with you, you make legitimately awesome food (some of the best) and it's very evident that you know your way around a smoker and a pit. Why can't you just swallow your pride and go to work like the rest of us. I'd kill to have a gift like yours and you seemingly have no problem letting it go to waste.

I sincerely hope you get your shite together and start cooking for the public again. I'll be there first in line to pay you for a meal. Until then, I hope you take some time to reflect on the gift you have and what you choose to do with it.

Oh yeah, he's a martyr.

Oh, was that in his "A Chef Rob joint" thread or in his "I might Answer" thread? The guy's a douche.

I wasn't lecturing anyone. I asked a question.

Yes you were. He has a job in the seafood industry in Seattle. No idea what it is though.

At what age did you start cooking? Have you ever competed in any bbq competitions-if so how many?

I have no problem with his beef, it's his pork that's my problem.

Exactly. He may have posted like an arse on some platforms in the past, and he may be attention seeking, but, unlike dozens of other attention seekers on this site, he has something to offer and has not been off-putting.

Agreed! Very easy to criticize and call someone out behind a keyboard but in person most people will zip it. Rob, was more than open on here and said many times that he did not want to fight and just wanted to talk Food & BBQ. However, when poked he snapped back. No different than a lot of posters on here. This is the FDB not the OT. If folks are not interested in what he has to say they would not be on his thread. Ignore or move on and don’t Read it! I don’t think anyone complained about his food comments only attacked him personally.
