I like where your heads at. But are they worth $400+?

I researched lots of brands before my pheasant hunt (kangaroo skin, Browning, Filson, L.L. Bean, Schnee's, etc) but ultimately opted to wear a pair of boots I already owned - Under Armours I bought on sale two years before. I did spend money on good hiking socks. The last day of the hunt was in a snowstorm and my feet stayed warm and dry.

Good socks - you can have the best shoes in the world, but cheap socks will kill your feet.

Irish Setter used to make a boot called green wings that were green kangaroo leather. That was my go to boot until they quit making them.
The last boots I bought were a pair of Danner Pronghorns I bought from the Breakroom for $60. They have been good boots so far.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I just wear muck boots when it's cold, and Redwings when it's not.

even though I live up N when bird hunting I never use insulated boots if I am moving my feet are warm enough. Smartwool socks when its cold help too
