There is not much of a better feeling than finally taking your target buck. I have had pictures of a deer for two years. He has been completely nocturnal, my cameras have not captured him in daylight once in the two years hunting him, until yesterday..

The first time he ever daylighted on camera I was there waiting. What a sense of relief. But now im not sure what I am supposed to do with my free time since I have been chasing this deer all season

If I can figure out how to upload a picture I will get it up for yall.

You have to use something like imgur, then use the img button to the right.

Congrats baw. Ol boy chasing and slipped up? Ours have all been nocturnal as well, except for one day time pic this week. They are about to get dumb the next few weeks, right when I’m on newborn duty!

Congrats
And yeah that’s the benefits and drawbacks of a camera. Many times I have gotten up and went when I didn’t want to because of a pic of a deer. When that deer is shot and there are none on camera there is no drive to push you trying to get that one deer.
Now it’s time to just relax and enjoy the days in the woods until another sparks a burning fire that makes you spend every waking hour an loosing sleep trying to figure out how to get that one deer.

Don't listen to any of these Butsie's in here. That's a fine, fine deer. Scores don't matter to me, it's the memories. How he looked coming through the woods, his behavior, how many times I had him on camera without seeing him.

Your deer is a great one. Congratulations.

Just so you know for next time.
If someone ask you what it'll score, just respond with: "I don't know".

too many idiots claiming they can age it or measure it by looking at its eyeball or a-hole.
