I've had that exact Citizen you linked for 10 years and I like it a lot. I recommend changing the strap on it though. You can also find it much cheaper on the gray market as well.
I wish falcon still made the coastal SS-67MLS. Thats what I have my 2500 nasci on to throw sparkle beetles

Shimano Nasci FC on a TFO professional rod should be right at $200. Falcon coastals are good too, just a little on the slow side for thowing artificial. I don't care for prepackaged combos; the rods are usually garbage.
Of the three I have, I'd rank them:
1. Shimano tranx 150
2. Diawa coastal tw 80 (close second)
3. Diawa tatula sv tw 103
I've had the tranx the longest, fish it the most, and is in the best condition of the 3.

OnX uses county/parish assessor lines, which are laughably bad

It all depends on what is called for in the chain of title vs what is recovered in the field by the surveyor. Typically found monuments at the property boundary will trump any legal description of the property.

I prefer my shimano tranx 150 over my daiwa coastal. Neither has given me any problems, but I've had the tranx longer and it has held up well in the salt. It's also a $50 cheaper than the daiwa. As for a rod, you can't go wrong sticking with st croix if you remember the specs on the one you just lost.

Natchez still has burris fullfield ii 3-9x40 in stock for just over $100. If you don't mind how the whole ocular bell rotates to zoom, those are well regarded cheap scopes.

Makes since that the most popular sizes would sell out first

Academy has Penn Battle III 50% off right now. That and a falcon coastal will come in right at $150
re: Best artificial shrimp bait.

I've stopped buying shrimp imitation like Vudu and DOA and just tie on what I already have in my box like a sparkle beetle or shrimp creole matrix shad.

Nice find. My mom made a few shadow box displays with her dad's old lures and gave them out as gifts to guys in our family. Pretty cool way to remember him.
My only complaint with my motoguide is the remote, the motor has been flawless. But where the lanyard attaches is a real weak point. Minn kota has the better remote.
re: Knot for braid to mono

I predominantly fish with 10 lb braid tied to 20 lb mono with an albright because I haven't had much luck with an fg on anything less than 30 lb leader
I've had the Plano A-series 2.0 quick top for a few years love it. It's held up to heavy use is salt water

I have a few of the newer Kistlers. I throw treble hooks with a 6'6 med KLX due to its slower action. Would suggest a lmh or mh if you throw deeper diving cranks

Left or right hand retrieve?
3000 Nasci fc w/ 10lb mono on ml falcon coastal, slays trout. Vs 2500 bg on 3lmh Kistler graphite whips big reds in shallow water

I have a Leupold fx-i 4x28 on my .22 and I love how light and compact it is.

I need to take out the crappy swivel seats and make a padded bench seat that fits in the bases in my alweld side console
