I thought Aranda would be better for long term, but I don't make the big bucks

He's proven. A guy like Riley has never built a program. He'll get his chance now. He may do great, or he may fail.

We know Brian Kelly can build a program and sustain it. He's done it several times.

At $15m per year he isn't, how exactly is someone going to have the cash for the buyout?

Good luck guys.

Define short term. O imploded in just over 5 years.

As an older guy he probably won’t be trying to run off younger sharp coaches that he considers a threat like O did.

He's 60, I think we can get at least 7 good years out of him.

If he can give us 5-8 years and build the program back up Cleanly, he’s worth every penny.

If he can survive 10 years, I’d call that a long term hire.

Why can't Kelly coach 6-8 more years? I don't think people realize that a coach staying 10 yrs at a program is pretty rare these days. LSU has had 3 coaches since the 1800s stay more than 10 years.

Look I like Aranda, but anyone that thinks he's a better hire than BK needs to be tested for hallucinogenics.

Why short term? 60 isn't old and he can coach 10 years. The chances of a young buck staying that long are slim to none

Jesus, 60 years old isn’t that damn old. He could easily coach 8-10 years.

Unless he dies, I’d say he’s here for at least 10 years
