Anyone else notice the crazy disappearance of FRITOS?

I haven’t seen a bag of those chips for sale ANYWHERE
Looks they paused production
Looks like there has been a “strike” over work hours (cough…vaccines)
Side note: I just realized I’ve never seen a generic version of Fritos

Yep. We had chili the other night, and there wasn't a single bag of regular Fritos in the Publix I shop at. I had to settle for chili cheese Fritos, of which they had plenty

Talked to the delivery stocker at Albertson's & he said it's a production issue & his route covers half of B.R. Said it will be hit & miss through the holidays. Sister lives in Metairie & she said it was the same over there.She was able to order them OL from WalMart. A bit more expensive.

Sunday offshore is always chili for lunch day and the lack of Fritos has been noticed. I think people don’t get upset about it because Sunday night is fried chicken. I shall bring this frito strike up to the night crew. Night crew is already mad, Biden taking their Fritos away might cause a strike.

Really? There are some out there. I think a company called Toms or something like that makes some.
The only really good Fritos were the barbecue flavor and it's been rare to find those for years.

Chili cheese Fritos are better anyways, especially with chili.
I have a bag of regular Fritos in the pantry. We bought it about two weeks ago.
I made chili last weekend and didn't know we had the big bag of Fritos already. Couldn't find any regular or chili cheese Fritos, but found a generic brand of chili cheese Fritos. I had never seen that before, but they were great with the chili.

Walmart has at least 3 varieties: plain, chili cheese, and a honey bbq. For frito pie Mom and I prefer the honey (we tried all 3 back to back one time).
