One of the worst flex-scheduling decisions I have seen in a long time. They passed up the chance to showcase the first-ever matchup of the 2 most prolific QBs in the 2020 draft as well as the Bengals' first home SNF game in nearly a decade.

wait, what?

that's fricking terrible.

ETA: ok your title is misleading. chargers-bengals wasnt the SNF game, but it was in contention to replace it. that's not nearly as bad as it being replaced

NFL wants desperately for Mahomes to be face of the league.

That’s 100% what the decision is about.

I can't think of a single primetime game that the NFL has played this year that I've been even remotely interested in.

Was CBS allowed to protect the Bengals/Chargers? What other AFC game would they make their national that week?

Flex scheduling is subject to the unprotected games from what I understand

I don't see where the Eagles are playing the Chargers; in fact, they played 3 weeks ago

The Cardinals have the best record in the NFL and they've had one Thursday primetime game. Not even a single 3:25 game either. They've had 3:25 games, but not ones that went to a national audience instead of the Cowboys game like last week.

TV executives ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The Cardinals have had 4 games start at 3:25. Unless you meant their 3:25 games weren't the national games.

Hurts - More TDs, less turnovers

Burrow - Less TDs, more turnovers
