Took less than 1 year to undermine all of the economic gains from Trump.

Biden could’ve set the country in autopilot and reaped the gains from a vaccine & a reopened economy without having to do a damn thing.

But instead, our vegetated president* is pushing forth more spending that no one wants & prog filth set forth by his handlers. China Joe really is trying to tank our country.

Is there a single positive thing that Biden has accomplished since in office.

Painfully obvious that everything the Biden admin has done thus far is to ruin the USA as it existed. Sure their plan is to “build back better” just into their twisted commie agenda

Inflation is the most regressive tax possible. Absolutely punishes the poor and middle class the most.

Easy enough to fix. Just raise SNAP and other benefits by 25%.

Now the poor aren't impacted.

To China Joe's defense, if you look at the money supply chart from COVID relief -- it was going to get ugly at some point. So, I don't hold him totally responsible for what is going on now. But, his Build Back Better spending is going to add gasoline to the fire.

Curious to see what companies do as annual reviews and increased start to come up. Will they give increases to level of inflation, up to level plus regular increase, or maybe not up to level.
I know my company and industry is killing it. Better be to level and more or I’m gone.

And could this complicate inflation levels?

Purposefully. Again, they realize inflation is occurring, but they hope it will raise wages.

They just fail to realize how dangerous a game theyre playing.

BBB won’t move the needle at all on inflation. Y’all are falling for sticker shock for no reason.

That’s not passing and if it does - debt financed government spending over 10 years is disinflationary at best and deflationary when debt to gpd is hovering around 150%. They would have to spend it all next year to even have a material economic impact we can tangibly see.

M2 base money going up is just a signal bank reserves are up and corporations drew their credit lines last year. PPP and direct payments were only $1 trillion of that expansion.

I thought people on this board were bitching about inflation unnecessarily. I went to a Publix yesterday and the cost of groceries here blew my mind. Wtf? Why is everything here so expensive?

Because literally everything that's shitty in this country today can be directly traced back to the feet of a leftist somewhere. They are scum, they are communists, and they are actively tearing this nation apart. Meanwhile, we do nothing to stop it.

Supply chains issues
Oil/Gas shortage
Easy money
Ramped up consumer spending
Worker shortage
Govt red tape especially in the slaughterhouses
Ammunition shortage to protect from shrink/theft
Housing shortage
Finished lumber prices (mill issues).

They exist everywhere.

Btw inflation is a lagging indicator. Those of you that want to place blame on Biden are ignorant. Trump did a lot of damage to the system in regard to keeping tools in the tool box. Lowering taxes the way it was done was a short term political win in an economic environment when it was not needed. With rates as low as they are and taxes as low as they are there really is no way to stimulate the economy after raising rates to stave off inflation. He really fricked us granted no one could have seen COVID coming when he did that... The only thing that might could be done now requires protectionism and high tariffs which can lead to war. Digital, economic or physical. Trump did a lot of good things but many were shortsighted... And that is the ultimate problem with our politics. Everything is done to get reelected and Lobbyists make the laws to line the pockets of themselves and a very select few. We need a small business friendly environment and less gigantic corporations. We pretty make c live somewhere between a corporatocracy and fascism these days.
