Really amazing how far things have fallen since we made gay marriage legal

Rush was right - turns out going against the foundation of 10,000 years of society was a bad idea.
Once we changed the definition of marriage - it opened the door to changing the definition of everything.

China and the Muslim brotherhood know what they are doing. They’ve used Hollywood and media to destroy America.

That's the biggest thing that bugged me... calling it "marriage." It's sacrilegious.
Look I'm all for the tax breaks for homo-coupling, and buttfricking another mans hairy arse, of if a Thespian is attracted to a chick that's trying to look like a dude, but is repulsed by dudes. I can stomach all that shite. Just don't call it a, "marriage."

Nah man, that isn’t the issue. Americans have the right to live how they wanna live as long as it doesn’t infringe in others. This isn’t about morality, this is about totalitarianism

Was thinking about this exact thing the other day. We ceded control over the language and now any law already written can be changed just by redefining key words.

pfft.... Naw man there was no slippery slope... they even said there was NO SLIPPERY SLOPE over and over...
Deviance, is deviance and once you compromise to deviance it gets easier and easier...

Exactly! Granted, the Greeks and Romans were f****** their boy toys (mostly slaves), but they at least had the decency not to marry them

I'll go back a little farther. When abortion was legalized that's when the moral compass of this country started down the slippery slope.

Disagree.
If you think calling gay marriage civil unions or something else would have prevented the progressive push over the last near decade you're delusional.

The rot had set in long before gay marriage. But that’s when the process really started accelerating. And it’s not stopped accelerating since.

I've been telling my wife for years that every time we "accept" mental health perversions as "normal" we move closer and closer to absolute debauchery and cultural ruin. She would always argue and say I am crazy and delusional. Guess who sees it my way now...
For the record, I was never opposed to gay marriage. I personally don't care what people do with their lives, but I do care when they force their lives and lifestyles on everyone else. I do care when we normalize perversions as a culture and society. My personal stance on gay marriage was let them have civil unions but just don't call it marriage. It wasn't about the legal issue to them though; it was about bending a society to its knees. We would call it marriage and we would like it! The word is what was important to them, not the tax breaks. It was the beginning of the cascade effect, and those dominoes are still falling

I remember heated debates on this forum
"how would gay marriage impact your marriage" Argument was " Oh come on this is about healthcare and right to visit loved ones in hospital and they should get the same tax advantages, you shut up you bigot?"
"how would it change your life?"
"how would it impact your children?"
Well, now that we're up to 23 pronoun options on college class registration forms, I'd say the woke has turned to everything to shite.

Gays do not want to get married. They are extremely promiscuous and don't want to be tied down. What they want is 'normalization'. IE, they want to be considered normal. There is a difference between being 'accepted' and being 'normal.' Gays are accepted today. Their sexual orientation is still not normal.
The idea of gay marriage and being openly gay in the military and have openly gay leaders in govt are all part of normalization.
