Riley is who I think you make the first call too...but you better have a really good defensive coordinator in mind when you make that offer...

Why would he have to wait on Peterson.

I think he is going to swing for brady or riley.

No way it's Jimbo. Do some simple math: LSU would need to beat his aggie salary, by a bunch, then add on top of that what it's going to cost buying out Coach O, his 2 coordinators. Topped by the $2M Woodward paid Mulkey. LSU athletics lost $80M last year. This is not biden's administration, i.e. LSU doesn't print its own money.

Is there anyone we can definitively cross OFF the list at this point?

Ed Orgeron and probably Les Miles also.

I agree, Saban is dropping fast.

I believe the rumors of his demise are being greatly exaggerated.

Don’t believe all the smoke in the air names circulating. Woodward is after his white whale and doesn’t want anything leaking until he has the ability to pull the trigger
Vol, you previously claimed that:

1) The firing was done deal after KY (in your Score Board topic after the KY game)
2) They were deciding on an interim, but no one wanted it (laughable)
3) They had enough to fire Ed with cause
4) Because they had dirt on Ed, they could negotiate a lower buyout

Vol give me a reason to believe you after being wrong so many times in the past two weeks...

Btw, I used to believe you had inside info. I'm really not trying to troll.

He was told the night of the Kentucky game loss by Tate and Woodward what was about to happen. At the time was told he would be gone, but they worked this deal instead. They still have enough to fire Ed with cause, but this kept things civil on both ends. There are/were a shite ton of moving parts

Im in the same boat you are. I want to believe. But there’s nothing about this post that requires even a scintilla of insider knowledge. Jimbo has already come out today and said he’s not leaving so it’s not hard for anyone to say it’s not him. As for Saban, again, come on. He’s not leaving and everyone knows that.

You are so full of it. None of the names you mentioned for the baseball hire were Johnson, you said O would definitely be fired for cause with a reduced buy-out. I mean, I appreciate the drama and thought exercises you create, but what have you actually been right on?

i believe Vol is an insider and usually doing stuff on the up and up, but this tease me stuff is silly. if you know a name cool, if you dont wanna say, cool. but teasing and not saying anything is sort of lame.
