I think it will be much like the baseball search. There were talks with Tim Corbin. Jay Johnson also, obviously, had discussions with LSU as well...before Arizona was eliminated from the CWS. Efforts to potentially land Corbin is why the search lasted so long.

There will be big name interest in the job because it is a good job and everyone knows Woodward will pay a ton. I don't think Woodward will get his "whale" (likely Dabo...but just a guess), but it won't be for lack of effort

If we're talking a "white whale", this would be it IMO. Saban is where he wants to be until he calls it quits, and I think Jimbo would come if Woody called him. Riley has never made sense to me for a few reasons, so perhaps...
