I had a season ending injury a few weeks ago, haven't been able to watch a game live since McNeese.

This is not an opt out. I'm hurt. Really, I swear.

Whose injury(ies) specifically are you questioning?

So now you’re questioning the integrity of the players AND the doctors performing the surgeries? Yeah…I’m sure they’d risk their livelihoods by performing unnecessary surgeries. That’s not how this works.

You have a brain injury but you’re still posting. Thanks for setting an example of toughness.

You're an idiot. The season for all intents and purposes is over. There's no reason for small injuries to risk turning into major injuries. Also it's kind of messed up to demand these kids play in pain when there's nothing to play for.

If we were ranked they would be waiting till after the season. But they see the season for what it is and know change is coming. So why not get ready for it.

Another one that would bitch if these guys played through the injuries then got surgery in the offseason and missed the start of next year.

It's funny it only happens to our star players, only they get season ending injuries.

When a player says he's hurt, I trust that he's hurt. Period.

If I'm wrong and he's a pussy, well that will show up later and we will be better off without him in the long term.

Either way, it's not my job to question them. I just hope they end up recovering completely.

I would say a lot of them are injuries they could play through but will require surgery. No reason to keep treading water on a sinking ship when your health is on the line.

well the season is already over except for those in denial so if a player needs surgery there is zero reason to put it off and play hurt in games that have no meaning

Which injuries are you referring to? No one plays through a lisfranc injury requiring surgery. Recovery generally requires no weight bearing for 6-8 months with the foot and lower leg in a cast. It is a very serious injury with potential "permanent" ramifications.

Uhhhhh they play for money now. That’s what they wanted right? To be paid.
