My gf is going 1 1/2 years of dealing with these people. People not showing up when they are supposed to, to taking the wrong measurements, to charging for services not rendered, nonexistent communication between labor and management. If you can think of an issue it has happened. Awful experience that is still ongoing.

They quoted me like 18k to change all my exterior doors a few years ago. Window prices are great. Guess that’s why it’s not called Door World.

You need to call a door company like Tully’s Millworks or Best Millworks. Window World was excellent for my 13 window replacement.

I think it’s the prices right now. I was quoted for 2 doors by Acadian: 1 full glass with full frame, 1 double French door set with panes on both doors and full frame. $13K to $16K depending on details of the French doors That price had me supplying the hardware knobs.

For 12 windows and one set of French doors, Renewal by Andersen’s original quote was $48k. The door alone was $14k, reusing our hardware. Nice products but they have lost their damn minds.

We have a franchise up here. I had them quote replacing the windows in my house last year when I was putting it up for sale, and they wanted almost $13K. I had another quote for $8K. Ultimately decided to just clean and repair existing windows.

If it’s the Baton Rouge Window World location then they’re doing you a favor by scaring you off. Seriously the worst customer service experience we’ve ever had to deal with. Piss poor communication, no-showing numerous times, taking a day off work only to have their installers show up hours late with wrongly sized windows, etc etc. Window World sucks major arse.
