About time. When I was a boy, I wanted to be like Sam Mills.

What is the hold up on Mora?

Entire Dome Patrol needs to be up there, but great for Mills.

Good man - briefly played football with his son Sam Jr for Woodlake Estates when my family moved to metro New Orleans from London. We later moved to Old Metairie once realizing that Kenner didn't have the amenities that my parents had grown accustomed to whilst living abroad.

yet carolina did this many many years ago and they even have a statue of him in front of the stadium
they honored him right away even though he only spent a few years there, the saints on the other hand only do it as an "oh ya i guess we should do that" thing. its so disrespectful they way the saints organization never considered honored him here

Have we scanned through all of his emails to make sure he is worthy? About damn time!

The fact that he isn't in the NFL Hall of Fame is the bigger injustice
Hopefully he gets in that this year
He was more deserving as a Saint than a Panther but I guess with his illness the Panthers decided to honor him
Not to belittle Will Smith but is he really deserving or was it because of his untimely death

Are they going to fix Morten Andersen's name?

He was with the panthers organization just as long as he was here. Part on the inaugural team and then coached even when he had cancer up until his death. He made a pretty large impact in Carolina.

He is an Icon in Carolina. They absolutely loved him. Taken way to soon.

As a shorter LB I idolized Sam Mills. This is long overdue and obviously so well-deserved that it's a shame we are discussing it so far after his time here. There is maybe one player every 10 years or so that shows they can transcend all measurables and be one of the best to play their position. Sam is the embodiment of hard work, preparedness and raw determination; these are just a few reasons why he is my all-time favorite NFL player to ever line up on that side of the ball.
