Let’s not forget that Rece went to Bama, he probably just wants to look unbiased. But Bama and UGA are def a cut above everyone else right now.
Whether they are 1 and 1A or 1 and 2, rankings don’t mean a thing til they meet.

If UGA beats Bama in Atlanta in December, Bama gets in anyway. Only one of those two teams has to worry about being "eliminated" with a loss.

No reason to list them both #1. List them #1 and #2. The SEC championship will decide the real #1. But they are both so far ahead of the rest of the field this year. I wouldn't mind seeing them play the SEC championship and then run thru the Playoffs and play eachother again in the Championship.
