Can liberals on this board make sense of these two things?

1) Wide open border and thousands of daily unvaccinated entering the country
2) Vaccine mandates, you can't work, go to the store, or eat dinner.
If the virus is so deadly and dangerous, why wouldn't we be concerned with the thousands entering the country daily knowing the majority are unvaccinated and infected?
Just admit you are full of shite, and you want open borders because it helps your team out, you also like the vax mandate because it punishes the other team.
Just admit that is all you care about, because there is no way you can defend this contradiction.

This has not escaped the minds of sane and rational Americans. Jen Psaki says the illegals are temporarily visiting America so they don’t need a vaccination but the temporary visitors that come by boat or plane need to be vaccinated…..this administration excels at absolute nonsense and dumbassery.

Personally I favor the vaccine mandates but think it is silly to have an open border policy at the same time. No sense repairing a flood wall if you allow the doors to be open.
